Private Intro Session (Pilates, GYROTONIC ®)
Whether you are completely new to Pilates or Gyrotonic, or more experienced, we ask that all of our new clients have a private introduction to our studio.
This session allows us to get to know one another and more specifically how your body moves. This time also gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have about our studio and teaching methods.
During the assessment we will go through your health and exercise history and discuss your fitness and wellbeing requirements. At the end of this hour we will decide together the most effective programme to achieve your goals.
Be ready to move though because as well as making notes about what you need - you will be working out too!

Group Reformer/ Tower Class (Pilates)
A repertoire class where all clients perform the same exercises at the same time on either the Reformer or Wall Unit (Tower). A great way to increase the pace of your workout once you have an intermediate level of understanding of Pilates and learn technique as a beginner. |

Trx Tower Class (Pilates blend)
A great challenge to anyone having got a few tower or mat classes under their belt. The Non-elsatic straps of the TRX add extra work to your balance, strength and co-ordination. Wait 'til we throw in some rollers and magic circles and watch out! |

Pilates Trio:
A group class of up to 3 clients with one instructor, these classes use the full expanse of the traditional Pilates apparatus. In this class, everyone works according to a program individually designed to address personal goals and needs.
Programming is reviewed throughout the year to give feedback, direction and to ensure that clients are achieving what they want to acheirve and can set new goals. |

Gyro Trio:
A group class of up to 3 clients with one instructor, these classes are designed to give everyone access to the wonderful method that is Gyrotonic. One private session is required before entry to these classes but once we've found out how you're moving, you're good to go with the amazing Pulley Tower.

Mums and Babies Class
A class to give those Mothers without full time child care a chance to come and work out. This class is structured just the same as a trio with the exception that babies (not yet crawling please!) are invited to be in the room playing or sleeping while the Mums exercise.

Private (Pilates, GYROTONIC ®)
One to one workouts are the most effective way to experience the benefits of either method by making use of all the apparatus. This approach is ideal for new clients to establish confidence or those wanting 100% of their instructor’s attention. |
Mat Classes (Pilates, GYROKINESIS ®, Yoga)
The most cost effective way to work out at Kinesis. Classes are limited from 4 to 6 people to enhance teacher attention. All these disciplines enhance co-ordination, balance and flexibility. |
Pilates Mat
A flowing dynamic class for intermediate/Advanced students. The class with be based on the classic Pilates repertoire for mat.

GYROKINESIS ®
GYROKINESIS ® systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating exercises. Fluidity is the key to this class and therefore postures are not held for a long time but are smoothly and harmoniously connected through the use of breath to result in a flowing dance-like class that frees your body of all restrictions.
The beginning of a GYROKINESIS ® class is performed on low stools to support the movement of the spine and commences with a self-massage and some simple breathing patterns to awaken the body. You will feel the unique challenge of strengthening your muscles and nervous system through the synchronization of breath and seven distinct spinal motions.
Unless the practitioner is experienced in modifying this class to his/her own requirements, this class is ideally suited to fit, healthy bodies which may carry restrictions but not acute pain or injuries.
