After working in the photography industry, pulling long, hectic days, Lucy recognized how exercise and physical movement was fundamental to her sense of well-being. Pilates became a key part of this so it was a natural progression for her to train as an instructor, with Alan Herdman.
Lucy loves how Pilates is so effective on many different levels and for such a wide range of people, from a remedial aspect through to a highly physical workout.
"Movement leads to a balance between mind and body. I believe that exercise should not only be effective but also fun, creative and individual." |

Kate has recently relocated back to the UK from Paris having been teaching at the beautiful Keana studio there since 2004. Kate trained classically with Peak Pilates on the full complement of apparatus and has since been blending the classical repertoire with additions and adaptations developed to enable her to best work with clients as diverse as dancers from the opera ballet company in Paris, pre and post natal women and elderly clients.
For Kate, Pilates is all about taking some time out of a busy day, calming her breath and giving her body the attention it needs. Let her do the same for you!
